INGREDIENTS:

Chicken 500 gm
Yogurt 250 gm
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Green chilies 4 – 5
Crushed coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds crushed 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder 1 tbsp
Cream 1/2 cup
Oil 1 cup
Salt to taste
Ginger 1 medium piece
Fresh Coriander 1/2 bunch

METHOD:

  1. Heat oil in pan and fry the chicken till slightly brown.

  2. Then add ginger garlic paste, cook for a minute.

  3. Add crushed cumin seeds, crushed coriander seeds, crushed black pepper, yogurt and 1 – 1/2 cup of water, cook on high flame until chicken tender.

  4. Add green chilies and cream cook mix it well and remove from heat.

  5. Chicken White Karahi is Ready to Serve.

  6. Garnish with ginger and chopped coriander and serve it.

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 kg Chicken boneless

1 cup All purpose flour / Maida

1/2 cup Cornflour / Cornstarch

salt to taste

1 tsp pepper

2 tsp soy sauce

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1/4 cup Water

Oil for deep frying

FOR SAUCE:

3 tsp butter

2 tsp Ginger finely chopped

2 tsp garlic finely chopped

1 onion large sliced thinly

2 slit green chilli

1 Capsicum / Bell Pepper sliced

1/2 cup Tomato ketchup

3 tsp Green Chilli Sauce

2 tsp Vinegar

1 tsp soy sauce

1 tsp red chilli powder or to taste

1/2 cup Water

1 tsp black pepper powder

Spring onion a handful finely chopped

salt to taste

1 tsp sugar

 

METHOD:

  1. Start by frying some chicken:

  2. Take chicken in a bowl, add in flour, cornflour, salt, pepper, soy sauce, ginger garlic paste and water. Mix well. Set aside for 10 mins.

  3. Heat some oil for deep frying, drop the chicken in and fry till golden.

  4. Then drain the fried chicken and set aside.

  5. Now make the sauce, heat some butter in a pan, add in ginger garlic and fry till golden.

  6. Add in onions, green chillies, salt and sugar. Toss well.

  7. Put capsicum and mix well.

  8. Add red chilli powder, soy sauce, green chilli sauce, vinegar, ketchup and mix well.

  9. Pour water and cook till oil separates.

  10. Mix fried chicken and toss well.

  11. Then add pepper and spring onion. Mix well.

  12. Dry Chilli Chicken is ready to serve.

Butter Scotch Ice Cream Recipe

Butter Scotch Ice Cream:

Ice cream is everyone’s favorite dessert. Butter Scotch Ice Cream is a flavor which is very popular in Asian Countries like India but do not worry because you can make it at home by this amazing recipe. It gives a taste like toffee which is very sweet and indulging. Make it with fresh Butter Scotch sauce and praline at home. Your children will also love this dessert. INGREDIENTS:

For Butter Scotch Ice Cream:
1 cup heavy whip cream
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp butter scotch essence
2-3 drops of yellow food color (optional)
1/4 cup Milk powder (optional)

Ingredients for praline:
2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp chopped almonds or cashews
4 Tbsp sugar

 

METHOD:

  1. Take one glass bowl which i had kept in freezer for 15 minutes to chill along with hand mixer blades. This help in beating cream quickly.

  2. Now in the bowl add cream and with hand electric mixer beat it on low speed for 25 to 30 seconds. You can also use hand mixer too.

  3. After 30 seconds cream is started to get thick.

  4. Now to this beaten cream add sweetened condensed milk, butter scotch essence and yellow food color.

  5. Fold in gently. You can use vanilla essence instead of butter scotch essence. 

  6. Add 1/4 cup milk powder. It is optional but it gives very nice taste to ice cream.

  7. We need to beat it till every thing combined well and ice cream mix gets stiff peaks. Lets beat it for another 10 – 15 seconds.

  8. Do not over beat otherwise it will become buttery.

  9. Now transfer ice cream mixture to a glass or plastic container. If you wish you can set in the same container too.

  10. Flatten ice cream with spoon or spatula. Cover it with cling wrap or aluminium foil, cover container with lid.

  11. Keep the container in freezer for 3 – 4 hours.

  12. While ice cream is getting set lets make praline.

FOR PRALINE:

  1. Grease a plate with a little amount of clarified butter and keep aside.

  2. In a pan add sugar and let it melt on medium flame. Stir often to prevent sugar get burn.

  3. After 30 seconds as you can see sugar gets caramelized. Now turn the flame to low and to this add butter and chopped almonds and mix.

  4. You can use cashews too or almonds and both as well.

  5. Turn off the flame and transfer this mix to greased plate.

  6. Let this praline set for 25 – 30 minutes.

  7. After 30 minutes break praline into pieces. Transfer into zip lock bag. With rolling pin crush it. Do not make fine powder.

  8. Our praline is ready. 

  9. Now take out ice cream from freezer and add praline to it. You can adjust praline amount according to your preference.

  10. Fold in gently also sprinkle some on top. 

  11. Cover again with cling wrap and let the ice cream set in freezer for 7 – 8 hours or overnight.

  12. Butter Scotch Ice Cream is ready to serve.

  13. Lets scoop it. Trust me it taste exactly the same as you get in the ice cream shops.

INGREDIENTS:

1.5 cup desiccated coconut
1/4 cup desiccated coconut for coating
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
4 tsp rose syrup OR Rooh Afzah
1 tsp clarified butter 
1 tsp cardamom powder

 

METHOD:

  1. Add clarified butter in a pan, once it get heated add desiccated coconut and roast continuously for 40 – 50 sec on low flame.

  2. Now add condensed milk and rose syrup. 

  3. Mix everything and cook for another 2 – 3 minutes on low flame.

  4. Stir continuously to avoid burning.

  5. If you don’t have rose syrup you can skip it to make plan coconut ladoo.

  6. Add cardamom and give a final mix. 

  7. Turn off the stove immediately transfer the mixture to any plate. Let it cool for 3 – 4 minutes.

  8. Now take a small portion of a mixture in hands and make a round ball. Coat it with desiccated coconut.

  9. Rose flavored Coconut Ladoo is ready to serve.

INGREDIENTS:

Flour 2 cups
Salt 1/2 tsp
Caster sugar 1 tsp
Egg 1
Instant Yeast 1 – 1/2 tsp
Oil 1/4
Luke warm water to knead

 

METHOD:

  1. Knead the flour, salt, caster sugar, egg, instant yeast and oil with Luke warm water like a pizza dough.

  2. Make 5 parts of the dough. Flatten each part and pour some oil over it.

  3. Sprinkle some flour over the oil and roll like a paratha.

  4. Flatten the dough to a size of dinner plate.

  5. Grease the oven plate and place flattened paratha over the plate.

  6. Preheat oven and bale at 180 C for 10 minutes.

  7. Take out of the plate in a pan after pouring some oil.

  8. Tandoori Paratha is ready to serve.

  9. Serve it with chutney or with karahi gosht.

INGREDIENTS:

Sweet corn 1 1/2 cups
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp 
Cumin 1/2 tsp
Besan / Gram flour 2 to 3 tbsp
Rice flour 2 to 3 tbsp
Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
Onion (thinly sliced) 1 small
Green Chillies 2
Curry leaves / Podina (Mint Leaves) 1 to 2
Salt as needed
Turmeric pinch
Red Chili powder 1/2 tsp
Oil for frying as needed

METHOD:

To make sweet corn pakoda, you can use corn on the cob or frozen corn.

If using corn on the cob, cook them until soft. Scrape off the corn from the cob with a knife. If using frozen corn, just rinse them and drain very well. Make sure there is no moisture.

Pulse them coarsely few times.

Add the rest of the ingredients and mix. Adjust salt as needed .

Heat oil in a deep pan for frying. Drop small portions of the mixture to the hot oil.

Fry until golden. Drain them on kitchen tissues. Serve sweet corn pakoda hot or warm.

Blender main 1/2 kg milk, 10 adad khajoor, 1/2 cup cream, 4 tbsp sugar aur hasbe zarorat barf daal kar achi tarha blend kar lain.
